Communication – The Key to a Successful Transaction

78% of all home buyers and sellers unhappy with their real estate professional list “Lack of Communication” as their #1 reason for dissatisfaction.  We at Chicago Home Partner believe that the selling of your home can be an incredibly stressful time, and one that we strive to make less so through streamlined communication with our clients.  We will discuss a communication plan with you that include feedback on open houses, showings, and comparable properties.  To do this we utilize both traditional phone and face to face communication, weekly email market reports, and proprietary software called OSA (Online Sellers Advantage) through our affiliate with Prudential Real Estate and Yahoo! Real Estate.

1.  Agent/Potential Buyer Feedback

Immediately following a showing we will either call or text (your preference) you to discuss our feelings on the showing.  Although this is purely speculative, we will discuss the potential buyer, their body language and answers they provide to many probing questions we tactfully ask.  In addition to this we will follow up with each agent via email and phone calls requesting feedback from both their clients and the agent on your property.  Our goal is to gain a better understanding of what they liked/did not like about your home, and how they feel your home is positioned against competition in the marketplace.

2.  Weekly Market Updates

These personalized emails for each seller are delivered weekly and contain the most up-to-date statistics on web traffic, insight into our showing activity, as well as Connect MLS (the property database used by Realtors) buyer activity as shown below:


3.  Prudential/Yahoo! Online Sellers Advantage

– Through our exclusive agreement with Yahoo! Real Estate we are able to bring you the benefits of the Prudential Online Sellers Advantage (OSA).  This brings you even more aggregated data from our listing partners including online visits from Trulia, Google Base, and Yahoo!
