Location is one of the most important features of a home if not the most important and with our house. At 4036 N. Kenmore, you will find a perfect blend of a family friendly location and sought after nightlife. Our neighborhood includes a diverse selection of restaurants, parks, public transportation, bars, (for those who prefer an adult beverage) as well as historic Wrigley Field. There really is something for everyone.
The Buena Park neighborhood association is very active and puts on some of the best family events in the area. These include live concerts in the park and numerous holiday events. Halloween on Kenmore is an amazing event that draws kids and parents from all over Lakeview for the great trick or treating, the house decorating contest and the haunted park.
If you’re a foodie there are tons of great options. Right at the end of the block is Fornello Trattoria which is a fantastic Italian restaurant recognized by the Rachel Ray show as a “Chicago Italian Hot Spot.” If you more of a sandwich person, then Lucky’s Sandwich Shop is only a few blocks away and was featured on Man Vs. Food for having amazing stuffed sandwiches.
And let’s not forget beer. Goose Island, one of the best micro brews in the city, is within walking distance of your front door. If you’re more about the nightlife, then the bars around Wrigley should make the most seasoned bar hopper a happy camper. Venues like The Metro, Arragon Ballroom and The Vic in the surrounding area allow you to not worry about finding a parking spot to go see your favorite bands, because all are just a short walk away.
The main attraction to this area is of course Wrigley Field. Everyone who is a baseball fan enjoys attending games at this historic monument to America’s favorite past time. The great thing about the location of our home is that where you are close enough to be at Wrigley any time you want, you are also just far enough away that you don’t have to listen to those annoying bucket drummers!
The down side to our home is that it’s such a great unit you may not want to leave and check out the fantastic neighborhood. You have all the features you could want;
