Welcome to the latest installment of the “Chicago Home Partner Featured Neighborhood” blog posts!

The Uptown neighborhood that we would like to introduce you to this month is one of the many historic and diverse areas that makes up the city of Chicago.  Home to such smaller areas as Buena and Sheridan Park, this area just North of Lakeview was historically a huge tourist destination.  It is home to some of the most historic single family homes as well as the Uptown Entertainment District full of nightlife, music and many different restaurants.  The close proximity to Lake Michigan as well as plentiful public transportation has allowed this area to continue to be a sought after area for all different residents.  Feel free to visit our Uptown Neighborhood page for School information, local news, and the latest real estate market statistics.

Provided below is information on its sub-neighborhoods, some recommendations and even photos from the public Flickr photostream.  Please contact us if you would like more informaion on Uptown or any of the other Chicago neighborhoods we serve.
