As I’ve traveled around the United States with the Kensington Tours team, it becomes increasingly clear that there are no people that love their food as much as Chicagoans. From Steak to Sushi, Tacos to Tapas, Chicago is a melting pot of delicacies from around the world. With that being true, I am thrilled to be able to share you with the 2009 Chicago Gourmet Food and Wine Festival.
The festival is a world-class celebration of food, wine and the city’s rich culinary heritage. Located in spectacular Millennium Park from September 26-27, 2009, guests will enjoy celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, a fabulous seminar series, plenty of premium wine tastings, gourmet food samplings and even an exclusive Grand Cru wine tasting.
A number of the finest Chicago establishments will be featured including: May St. Café, Urban Belly, Red Light and Café 28. Complete with seminars, live cooking demonstrations by top chefs and the Gourmet Tasting Pavilion, this looks like an event not to be missed for anyone who loves their food.
