People’s Gas Natural Gas – People’s Gas is Chicago’s primary provider of Natural Gas service.  Visit their site to set up your service before moving.

Comcast Cable, Phone and Internet – Serving all of Chicagoland, Comcast offers many digital services with special offers for new homeowners on their website

RCN Cable, Phone and Internet – Available in certain areas of Chicago including Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Gold Coast and more.  Check to see if your areas is served.

Recycling in Chicago – Find out where your local recycling drop off is, whether your neighborhood utilizes the “Blue Cart” program and more at their website.

Chicago Streets and Sanitation – The official Chicago website, this department can help with parking, trees, yard waste, snow removal and more.

Chicago Water Department – This Chicago Department can assist you in setting up and transferring water service from previous owners and into your name.
