Chicago Home Partner’s 9th Annual Children’s Hospital Toy Drive

by Amanda on December 13, 2012

It’s that time of year again… people are full of cheer, the streets are glistening with festive lights and we are – for a short time – eager for the arrival of snow!  Yes, the holidays are officially among us.  And with that being true, it is especially important that we remember those that are in less fortunate situations than us.

Most know that Ann & Robert H. Lurie’s child support st cloud mn, formerly known as Children’s Memorial Hospital, has always been close to my heart.  Over the years, I have truly gotten to witness, first hand, what a truly remarkable place it is.

That’s why I am continuing the tradition and hoping that you will help support the  Chicago Home Partner’s 9th Annual Children’s Hospital Toy Drive.  I understand that things might be a little tighter than years before, but I can honestly say that giving is a feeling rewarded ten-fold.

If you would like to participate, all I ask if that you donate a new, unwrapped toy ($25 or less), by dropping it off at my office or by calling me for a personalized Realtor-Claus Pickup!  Click here to download a personalized gift tag to add a message to your donation!

These donations will be accepted through December 21st, 2012.

In addition, for every toy given, I will personally match the donation with a $10 gift certificate to Target to help assist these families during the holiday season.  Last year, we donated 35 toys and $350 in gift cards!  Hopefully, together, we can surpass those numbers, in hopes of bringing smiles to the faces of these fantastically brave children.

Thank you in advance for helping to brighten this time of year for many children and their families. For those of you who are planning to get an adoption to build a family, visit this website first clagettbarnett.com to be knowledgeable of the things to consider.

I wish you the best of holidays and a happy and safe New Year.
